Scribbler's TSP and Economic Report is a daily report that gives a target TSP allocation based on improvement or deterioration of macroeconomic indicators, influential commentary from industry leaders, and overall market valuation. Combined with a small amount of technical analysis, Scribbler's TSP and Economic Report seeks to determine opportunistic times to make TSP allocation changes. About the Author

About Scribbler (Ken Bateman):

Ken Bateman is the author of Scribbler's TSP and Economic Report, and the author of The Brookside Letter, his own economics based newsletter.

In late 2008, Ken became very distressed about the "pitchmen of economics" who appear on TV to espouse economic predictions that were not supported by facts. He saw how the faulty analysis of "now is the time to buy because it can't go lower" and the mentality of "buy and hold through thick and thin" cost so many people so much money. There was no downside for the pitchmen, though, who would return in a few weeks to either declare victory or restate their faulty facts. Ken decided to start his own market-focused newsletter business with an independent look at economics and its influence on business and market valuations.

Ken is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, with a Bachelors of Science in Economics. He also holds a Master's of Business Administration from Troy University.
